3rd Anton Bruckner Festival Berlin - Beginning of November 2024
The Anton Bruckner Festival Berlin will take place for the third time in 2024! To celebrate Bruckner's 200th birthday, we will significantly expand the program compared to previous years.
In addition to an organ concert and two concerts featuring two symphonies and two different orchestras, there will also be a performance of a cappella pieces by Bruckner. The program will be rounded off with a symposium on the "why" of the many adaptations of Bruckner's symphonies, as well as a chamber music concert featuring his string quartet and string quintet.
We are getting closer to the goal of the festival, which is to make Anton Bruckner's entire artistic work accessible to a wide audience through the program.

- Symphony concert with Anton Bruckner's 3rd Symphony in D minor (WAB 103).
- Symposium on the "why" of the many adaptations in Bruckner's symphonies.
- Symphony concert with Anton Bruckner's 5th Symphony in B major (WAB 105).
- Concert featuring a cappella works by Anton Bruckner.
- Chamber music concert with the String Quartet in C minor (WAB 111) and the String Quintet in F major (WAB 112).
