1. Anton Bruckner Festtage Berlin on November 8th and 9th, 2022 in the Berlin Cathedral
Funded by the Claude Heater Foundation San Francisco/Berlin
The Anton Bruckner Festtage Berlin in the Berlin Cathedral will take place for the first time this year! The aim of the festival is to make Anton Bruckner’s entire artistic work accessible to a large audience.
The center of Anton Bruckner’s life was always his work as an organist. That’s why we open the festival with a pure organ concert. On the second day there will be a symposium with the participating artists on the work and influence of Anton Bruckner. The festival will end the same day with a symphony concert with his 1st symphony and the 3 orchestral pieces (WAB 97).
